The mountain lion is the ultimate “fang and claw” trophy! The Big Horn Basin is the habitat for an outstanding lion population, and avid hunters can harvest a quality tom. This outfitter has their own our dogs, and they ensure that there is an extra helping hand on each hunt. This is a 1:1 fully guided 6 day hunt. Outfitter will provide all field transportation for this hunt-it may be hiking, side x side, truck, snowmobile or UTV depending on terrain and snow depth. This is a must hunt for every hunter!

    Refund Policy:

    Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

Outfitter will provide all field transportation for this hunt-it may be hiking, side x side, truck, snowmobile or UTV depending on terrain and snow depth. This is a must hunt for every hunter! This hunt will start in the early morning before the sunrises to look for fresh tracks. Once the tracks are cut then the chase is on! Expect to spend long days in the field in colder temps.

    Hunter will stay in a clean and comfortable lodge for this hunt. If operations need to move because of conditions, outfitter will provide motel lodging.

    Hunter should be prepared for moderate hiking on this hunt. Lion country can be steep and rocky. More physically fit will provide better shot opportunity.


    Transportation (To/From Basecamp)

    Field transportation is provided. Final destination city is Casper, Wyoming. Hunter can either choose to rent a car and drive to the lodge or can request pick up from the Outfitter.

    Description

    Lion hunts will be conducted in December through February. Hunter can expect deep snow at times. Gaiters are must for this hunt. Outfitter will provide the appropriate field transportation depending on the weather conditions and snow cover. Hunter needs to be prepared with warm hunting gear-layering systems recommended. Full gear list to be provided when booked.
