As licensed transporters, this outfitter has the ability to drop hunters anywhere they are legally allowed to hunt in Alaska. Because the pilot spends all year living and flying in western Alaska, this outfitter has a competitive edge over all seasonal transporters. For those who go un-guided please know that the quality and comfort of the hunt is heavily dependent on the quality of your gear. This outfitter provides the highest quality tents, cots and cooking equipment for your hunt of a lifetime. Hunters will also be provided a satellite communication device at no additional cost. If your dream have always been to tackle the wilds of Alaska your trophy Moose on a DIY hunt, this may be your adventure! This hunt has a minimum of 2 hunters per camp. The outfitter believes this is the perfect size group, larger groups may impact shot opportunity and work load. This is a 10 day supply supported DIY hunt. This outfit only runs 6 camps per year to keep trophy quality high in the area. Hunters also have the opportunity to shoot black bears, wolves, and wolverines.

Refund Policy:
Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

Hunters must have a minimum group of 2 for this hunt. Outfitter prefers groups of 2 as shot opportunity and success remains very high. Outfitter also recommends staying the full 10 days, especially with larger groups or if other species (black bear) are desired.

Outfitter will provide all food for this hunt. Hunters can expect a mix of mountain house meals, canned goods, and also homecooked meals sealed and ready to heat! Outfitter spends time preparing meals for the hunter like BBQ chicken, Chili, biscuits and gravy, and many other favorites that are vacuumed sealed and ready to heat in camp.

Hunters can expect light to moderate hiking depending on where the bulls are located. Hunters will also be responsible to get their meat, horns, and hide to the bank where the outfitter will pick them up. More physically fit will have better shot opportunity.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Hunters will book flights to Dillingham Alaska (DLG) from any major hub, the preferred airline is Alaska Airlines. It is recommended flights are booked to arrive one day before the hunt. All bush flights to and from the field are included in the hunt.

Description
A great opportunity to be able to just show up and hunt! The outfitter will supply everything you need for camp including your tent, meals, stove, in-reach, raft (if needed) and any intel before your feet hit the ground. Hunters will need to be prepared with all their personal hunting gear, sleeping bag, and processing knives and saw. Hunters will be responsible to get their animal to the bank where pick up is arranged. Full gear list to be provided if requested when booked.
