This is a hunt of lifetime! This is a 10 day, fully guided 1:1 hunt Stone Sheep hunt. Experience the backcountry of British Columbia on horseback hunting a high alpine Stone Sheep. Camp will be at a lodge and hunter should prepare to ride daily from camp. There is only 1 tag given in this unit a year so trophy quality is high for big rams.

    Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

Base camp will be set up with wall tents and hunter should prepare to hike from daily from camp. There is only 1 tag given in this unit a year so trophy quality is high for big rams.

    This hunt will be conducted out of an nice lodge. Depending on where sheep are found, the hunter may need to stay in a backpack tent or wall tent during some of the hunt. Outfitter will supply tents.

    This is a wilderness hunt in the BC mountains. You will need to be prepared each day to hike and travel many miles of rough country. Hunter can expect to hike a lot of miles in steep and rocky terrain in search of trophy rams. Hunter can expect 1-2 hours a day. 3-5 miles a day hiking.


    Transportation (To/From Basecamp)

    Final destination city is Fort Saint John, British Columbia. Outfitter will pick up hunter at the airport and then transport them to the base camp lodge.

The weather should be moderate during this hunt, but be prepared for snow and rain. Bring a proper layering system and durable hiking boots. Full gear list to be provided when booked.
