This hunt is a great opportunity to fill your freezer! With plenty of great private land to hunt and high numbers of elk, opportunity is very high. There is leftover tags in this unit so getting a tag is no problem. This is a 3 day hunt with meals and lodging on your own. The hunt takes place near Meeteetse, WY with lodging available in Cody, WY.

Licenses required by the state of WY are not included in the hunt price listed. When applying for the draw, a conservation stamp (appx. $21.50) is required in addition to the license cost paid at the time of application (appx. $288). The application fee must also be remitted when applying (appx. $15).

Refund Policy:
Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.
Description
This hunt is typically on the easier side as far as physicality. High numbers of elk and easy to draw tags make this an enjoyable hunt. Cow Elk hunts are all on private land between two elk refuges. This outfitter has over 200 resident elk on the land with an excellent bull to cow ratio. Easy terrain to hunt with a 1 to 2 shot opportunity per day. This is a 1:1 fully guided 3 day hunt. Success rate is very high. Meals and lodging will be client provided. Cow elk hunts remain open until November 15th for rifle hunters.

This outfitters typical hunting elevation is between 3000 and 7000 feet so please be prepared. They suggest getting in shape prior to booking any hunt regardless of where and what you are hunting. Hunting is considered an Extreme Sport for good reason and can be very demanding on a physical level.
