Description
A five day mule deer hunt during the rut in some beautiful west Texas country. Large bucks averaging from 175"-180" (record buck shot at 207") are expected in the area. Hunter must arrange for a morning fight into Midland to be picked up by the outfitter or may choose a later flight, but will be responsible for cost of lodging the night before pick up. Some moderate hiking is required, although with an additional cost the hunter may use horses (provided by the outfitter) for the hunt. While the mule deer rut is later in the year (December-January) the weather may be warm, so pack lighter weight hunting clothing and boots. This outfit prides themselves on very personalized hunts and so groups are small with 1:1 or 2:1 hunts.
