Description
A great opportunity to hunt the rut for big whitetail deer! This is 2:1 fully guided 3 day hunt. These are free range whitetail and hunter has leases on several large ranches encompassing 40,000 acres. This hunt can be arranged for a trophy hunt. Price reflects for a buck 130-150" but bucks as big as 200" are available for an additional cost. This hunt is available October through February, but the rut is during January so the best time to book is mid December through January. Hunter has option to add a variety of varmint species to their hunt with a trophy fee. If varmint are selected, outfitter will set up a night or day time hunt in search of these animals and skin what you want to take with you. Outfitter will provide ATVs and side x sides or field transportation, but this hunt will require moderate hiking some some rocky terrain.

Refund Policy:
Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

Hunter has options to add free range exotics, blackbuck, and a variety of varmint species to their hunt with a trophy fee. If varmint are selected, outfitter will set up a night or day time hunt in search of these animals and skin what you want to take with you. Outfitter will provide ATVs and side x sides or field transportation, but this hunt will require moderate hiking some some rocky terrain. This is a spot and stock hunt on free range deer. Hunter and Outfitter will rattle and try and bring big bucks in during the rut. Hunter can expect early mornings and evenings in the field to find big bucks. Often bucks will be located in the morning by glassing and hunter will wait for them to bed and make a stock. Clean and comfortable ranch house to come back to after a long day in the field.

Hunter should be prepared to do some moderate hiking for this hunt. It is very hot and could reach temps up to 90 degrees during the day. On average hunter will hike 2 miles a day in some rocky terrain.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Hunter will fly into Midland, or San Antonio Texas. Hunter will be responsible to rent a vehicle and drive to the ranch (roughly 2 hour drive). Outfitter also offers a pick up/drop off service for an additional cost.

Description
Hunter should expect to do some moderate hiking in some very hot weather. On average hunter will hike 2 miles a day in pursuit of big bucks. Temps may reach 100 degrees and so very light hunting clothing is recommended. Terrain can be rocky so comfortable and durable hiking boots a must. Outfitter does provide ATVs and Side x Sides for field transportation where possible. Full list to be provided by the outfitter when booked.
