Description
This is a 2:1 fully guided 3 day elk cow hunt in beautiful western Montana. Stay in a beautiful lodge with 5 star meals. At 4,500 feet in elevation, the 5,200-acre private ranch is situated on a varied landscape, featuring rolling hills, grasslands, rangelands, and high mountain peaks in the backdrop. What started off as a cattle ranch when the property was purchased in 2005 has been restored over time with the goal of bringing it back to it a more native landscape. Restoration projects have included planting thousands of acres of grasslands and trees, creating wetland protection with fences to protect springs from livestock, and reviving wildlife habitats, including a variety of birds and wild game. Now guests can see deer and elk along with bald and golden eagles, and a variety of upland birds including wild sharp tailed grouse, Hungarian partridge, pheasant, and chukar partridge. Two trout fishing ponds are located on the property, for healthy wetland habitat and recreational uses. Option to bring a non-hunter companion. There are generally leftover Elk B licenses for this unit.
