Description
This hunt takes place in a special draw unit 411 in Central Montana. The archery tag is basically guaranteed currently, and the rifle tag takes 5-10 points to draw. This is a great rifle hunt for an individuals who are not very mobile, are younger, or just looking for a good hunt for a nice bull. The late season rifle hunt takes place over ag fields where you are catching the bulls coming out of the fields in the mornings and coming back out in the evenings. There is lots of hunting pressure on the public which pushes the elk down onto the private. It is not a large ranch but it is the right ranch, providing great opportunity. There is a lodge provided near by for the hunters to stay in. Averaged days hunted in 2024 was 2.

Description
Will wake up in the mornings and have breakfast before heading out. You will get there in the dark, setting up where the elk will come back from the agriculture fields, going to bed down for the day. In the evenings it will be the same type of set up, just waiting for them to head back out to the fields.
