This is an exclusive hunt for large mule deer on private land. Hunter will get a great opportunity to hunt big bucks with choice of either archery or rifle. This is a draw unit but Outfitter also offers landowner tags for additional cost. These units typically take 2-3 points to draw for rifle. 1-2 points needed for 100% success in archery draw.

Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.
Description
This is a 5 day hunt for one hunter to chase big muley bucks in southern Colorado. This is an archery hunt during the month of September. Rifle season is during the months of October and November. Exclusive private land hunt where the deer see little hunting pressure. This is a draw unit that takes on average 2-3 points to draw or outfitter offers a landowner tag for an additional cost.

Hunter should be prepared for moderate hiking in pursuit of big bucks. The terrain can be rocky and steep. Physically fit individuals will have more shot opportunity. Outfitter can work with hunter and accommodate.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Final destination city is Denver or Colorado Springs, Colorado. Hunter may choose to rent a vehicle and drive to lodge or can request for additional cost to be picked up and dropped off at nearby airport.

Description
Hunter will be hunting in the Spanish Peak mountains of Colorado. Early fall archery hunts will be in warmer weather, while later season hunts may encounter some snow. Hunter should be prepared with appropriate hunting clothing for the season they choose. Layering systems recommended. Good hiking boots is a must.
