Description

These guides have been hunting the monster bulls of New Mexico Unit 30 since before anyone outside New Mexico really knew the caliber of bulls here. With a desired 300” minimum there is a hope to keep dropping nice quality bulls here. Two private ranches are hunted for either hunt selected. This private ranch is 47,000 acres and home to hundreds of elk year round. With help from mother nature this ranch can produce some giant late season bulls. This hunt is a 7 day archery or rifle hunt including lodging, meals, and a landowner voucher.

      Refund Policy:

      Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

      You will stay in a small cabin located in the middle of the ranch. Hunters stay in a new cabin with 2 queen beds right next door to the guide cabin. The guide cabin has a shower, a small living room area and 1 bedroom. It’s a super nice cabin but it’s located off the grid, so no power other than a generator and solar powered lights. Heater is propane.

      Camps will have cooks on all the hunts and provide warm, home cooked meals. The evening concludes with a hot, hearty meal to ensure your stomach is full after a long/hard day of hunting.

      You will be hunting at an elevation of about 6800’ – 8500’, or higher, do what you can to get in shape for this hunt. Comfortable boots with ankle support are recommended. Long days on your feet are common. Extra socks are encouraged to keep feet dry.

      Description

      Full gear list will be provided upon booking of the hunt. Temperature can vary daily with cool mornings and warm to hot days. A layering system is recommended to ensure you are prepared for a variety of temperatures that the mountains offer. Extra socks 2-3 pairs per hunting day are also recommended.
