This British Columbia hunt offers an exceptional opportunity to pursue a truly remarkable black bear. Known for its diverse color phases and the presence of mature, trophy-sized black bears, this hunting area is a prime destination for hunters seeking an unforgettable experience. While baiting is illegal in British Columbia, this hunt will be conducted exclusively as a spot-and-stalk adventure, which allows you to engage with nature in its purest form. As you track your bear, you will likely encounter a variety of other wildlife, further enriching your hunt. Over the course of this six-day adventure, you will immerse yourself in a true hunting experience, where patience, skill, and determination are key. This is a hunt you won’t soon forget, offering the chance to harvest the bear of a lifetime in one of the most beautiful regions of Canada. This is a 6/day 2:1 hunt.

Refund Policy:
Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.
Description
Hunters will stay in comfortable, well-maintained log cabins, each equipped with a wood stove to provide warmth and a cozy atmosphere after a long day in the field. The rustic cabins offer a clean, inviting environment where you can relax and unwind in complete comfort. In addition to the cabins, there is a central main lodge where hunters will gather for three hearty, home-cooked meals each day.

Depending on the weather, the hiking during this hunt may be more demanding. The terrain is rugged and thick, offering a true challenge for hunters who are up for it. As this will be a strictly spot-and-stalk hunt, hunters should be prepared for long hours of walking through dense, challenging country. There are opportunities for hunters of all conditions.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Hunters will fly into Kalispell, MT and airport transportation will be provided to and from camp. The drive to base camp is a 2 hour drive from Kalispell.

Description
This is a spring hunt, temperatures can range from 50-80 F. Rain is is common so rain gear is essential. Cabins warm and dry so only a minimal sleeping bag is necessary. Hunter should be prepared to hunt 8-10 hours a day. This hunt will consist of long days in the field. Full gear list to be provided when booked.
