Description

We have very high black bear numbers and most clients will look at between 35 and 70 bears during their 6 day hunt. We have some colour phase bears as well. Bow hunting is very popular and we also have muzzle loader and rifle hunters as well. Our bear hunting is 100 % spot and stalk hunting and our seasons start in early May until June 30 and then again in middle of August until the bears go to bed in late October. Our fall hunts are usually conducted in berry patches as well as oat fields. We have a large part of our area in a agriculture belt and it produces a lot of bears. We some times hunt bears in oat fields which is extremely productive. Bear hunting is a very casual hunting experience and not very physical. Spring Black Bear hunts offer bowhunters incredible opportunities for a trophy animal. Our hunting territory is perfect for spot and stalk type hunting. Most bowhunters have several stalk opportunities daily
