Description
Wake up in the heart of coues deer country where populations of black bears exist in the "sky islands" of southern arizona! After a great breakfast and coffee in camp, hunter will hop in the truck or side x side and head into the hills where the guides are well aware of where the bears are roaming in search of Prickly pear fruit and manzanita berries. Multiple trail cameras on water sources and trails will be provided and studied to increase the odds greatly of knowing bear activity is high in the area. Once you locate a bear in the morning, the guides will pinpoint where the bear is traveling (usually a very dark nasty canyon). Later in the afternoon, the guide and hunter will move into the area where the bear is likely to return to a food source in hopes of a spot and stalk situation. Hunters may also choose to sit on water and wait for bears to move in.
