Description
12 day hunt for 2 iconic species of Alaska in the Alaska Range. Choice of Interior grizzly, Alaska Yukon Moose, Dall sheep, black bear and caribou. Hunter can also shoot wolves and wolverines (only in fall) for no trophy fee if seen. Options for a spring or fall combo hunt. Spring hunts can be arranged as grizzly and black bear hunts. Fall hunts have a lot more options as more seasons are open.

This area has a large and robust population of moose. They run the longest season on moose in Alaska. Average size are 55"-60". Interior grizzlies are 7'-8' Dall sheep are 35"-40" Black bear are 6'-7' Caribou are 380"-400". Caribou are DRAW only for this area and world class in size. If interested in hunting caribou on this combo hunt, ask your Adventure specialist for application strategies.

Refund Policy:
Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.
Description
A great opportunity for a 12 day 1:1 fully guided hunt for 2 of Alaska's iconic species. Opportunity to hunt dall sheep, interior grizzly bear, black bear, moose and caribou. This combo hunt is available for both fall and spring. Spring hunts are only open for grizzly and black bear. Fall seasons allow for dall sheep, moose, and caribou along with bear species. Caribou is a DRAW only for this area. World class caribou in this area. Interior grizzlies with incredible color phases. Hunter will be accommodated in a base camp cabin with a wood burning stove, but also utilize a spike camp when in pursuit of some species. This hunt will take place on horse back and use snowmobiles, ATVs and other equipment to get you further faster. World class camp and guide with years of experience.

Hunter will stay in comfortable cabin with wood burning stone and electricity. Bunkbeds will be 1-2 hunters per cabin. Spike camp may be utilized. Hunter will then stay in a mountaineering 4 season 2 person tent on the mountain.

Homestyle cooking-meat and potatoes. A field kitchen will be utilized if in spike camp-mix of freeze dried foods with some fresh foods.

Horses will be used for this hunt, but hunter will also have to do some heavy hiking in pursuit of game. Hunter can expect 1-5 miles of hiking a day depending on the species chosen.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Final destination city for Spring hunts is Fairbanks, Alaska. Outfitter will pick up hunter and drive roughly 120 miles south to camp. Final destination city for fall hunts is Healy, Alaska. Hunter can take either a shuttle or railroad to Healy. All transportation will be provided during this hunt. Horseback will be used when appropriate. Snowmobiles will be used in spring hunts.

Description
Outfitter with over 25 years of experience providing successful hunts in the game rich central Alaska Range. Hunt from main camp or spike camp for part of your hunt as needed. You'll ride horseback to cover more ground up and down drainages glassing for rams. You'll want to be in great shape to hike/climb after spotting a trophy to pursue. Gear list will be provided for your hunt.
