Description

This is a once-in-a-lifetime horseback wilderness adventure, where you’ll be hunting elk during the rut with a rifle or bow. There are options to add additional species for a trophy fee, and hunters can also carry a moose tag, allowing them to harvest either elk or moose without an additional trophy fee. A trophy fee will apply if both an elk and moose are harvested. For those looking for more variety, 2 and 3-species combo hunts are available, where you can add Canadian Moose and/or black bear to your hunt. This is a fantastic opportunity to harvest a trophy Canadian moose, with a goal of taking a moose that measures 50" or more. In this area, elk have a 6-point minimum, and the bulls typically score around 300", with some reaching up to 340". Black bear can also be added to your combo, with bears ranging from 6 to 7.5 feet. This 10-day fully guided hunt features a 1:1 guide-to-hunter ratio, with tent camp accommodations and meals included. Wolves may also be harvested with no trophy fee if encountered. While around 10% of hunters harvest wolves during the regular fall hunts, the winter months offer the best opportunity, as the wolves are much better furred.
