All of these Rocky Mountain Elk hunts are done in a trophy zone, which means there is a 6-point minimum. This area is known for dark, heavy, large-frame stock that make for excellent trophies.These hunts take place deep in the Rocky Mountains and foothills, making for scenic and challenging adventures. This hunt will include horses to help navigate the wilderness and assist with pack out. With our variety of hunt locations and camp options, this outfitter can personalize trips to each hunter’s ability. This is a 1:1 fully guided 8 day hunt.

    Refund Policy:

    Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

This outfitter also offers "mixed bag" or combo hunts offering elk and mountain goat combos or elk and moose hunts. Hunter will stay in a clean and comfortable lodge or wall tent depending on where bulls are found.

    Hunter is required to do some light to moderate hiking. This can hunt can be designed to be as easy or challenging as the hunter wants to make it. This is a spot and stalk hunt.


    Transportation (To/From Basecamp)

    Final destination airport is Grand Prairie, Alberta. Hunter will be picked up and dropped off by Outfitter from airport, included in the hunt cost.

    Description

    A 1:1, fully guided 8 day hunt during the elk rut in British Columbia. This area in British Columbia harbors some giant bull elk. Moose over 300" are shot every year. Success is very high in these areas. This hunt takes place in September, October, and November so weather can vary. Option to add more species to the hunt for an additional cost. Outfitter will call in big bulls and hunter must be ready for a variety of weather. Meals, lodging, and all field transportation will be provided for this hunt. Full gear will be provided if requested when booked.
