Description

Our area boasts a healthy population of Shiras Moose, with bulls typically averaging between 35-45". Moose are a key species in our region, found throughout the landscape. Shiras moose are closely monitored and managed in southern BC due to their limited range and their value as a unique sub-species. Our Shiras moose tags operate under a quota system, and availability for this sought-after species is limited. 7 day 1x1 hunts.

      Refund Policy:

Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

      Description

-hunt consists of using truck/atv/tracked ATVs and some hiking to access the area. Tactics including glassing, salt/mineral baiting, using snow to find sign. Moose are found feeding morning/evening, usually in logging blocks, to put fat back on post-rut. -Other track finers or houndsman will be out looking for cat tracks while you are moose hunting with your guide. If a desired track is found, we can let the hounds go, and resume moose hunting that evening or the following morning.
