Description
Hunters should come prepared for changing Midwest weather and long hours in the field. Quality quiet, layered clothing, waterproof boots, gloves, and a warm hat are recommended, especially for colder mornings and evenings. A rifle or bow, depending on the season, along with a comfortable backpack, binoculars, rangefinder, and safety harness for use in tree stands should be included. Since hunts are conducted from tree stands and elevated blinds, hunters should also bring comfortable clothing and gear suited for sitting for extended periods.
