A great opportunity to hunt large billies in British Columbia. This is a 1:1, fully guided, 10 day hunt. Hunter will stay in small cabin and hunt daily from base camp, or may choose to set up a spike camp to find big mature animals. Hunter should expect to hike 3 to 5 miles a day in some steep and rocky terrain. This area is known for their big goats and every year there are goats over 9" taken. Horses are often used where terrain is maneuverable. License included in price of the hunt. Option to add a Rocky Mountain elk, Canada moose, or black bear to the hunt if desired for an additional cost. Option for a non-hunter observer.

Outfitters target mature billys. There are many B&C billies taken every year.
Average rifle shots are 200 yards.
Average archery shots are up to 60 yards.
Archery hunts are an option, but hunt success greatly decreases.

A great 10 day 1:1 hunt to chase big mature billies. This hunt can either be a backpack hunt utilizing spike camp or you can hunt from a cabin each day. Hunter should be prepared for 3-5 miles per day while glassing for goats and climbing ridges. Horses may also be used depending on the area holding the most animals. Hunter can expect to spend a lot of time glassing the hillsides for goats and then working to climb steep terrain to close the distance. Hunter will stay in small cabin and hunt daily from base camp, or may choose to set up a spike camp to find big mature animals. Final destination airport is Grand Prairie, Alberta. Hunter will be picked up and dropped off by Outfitter from airport, included in the hunt cost.

Hunter should be prepared for moderate to heavy hiking for this hunt. This hunt takes place in the month of October in British Columbia and weather can vary. Moderate to heavy weather hunting clothing should be packed. Hunter will hike 3-5 miles a day. Layering system recommended. Comfortable and durable hiking boots are a must. Outfitter will supply horses if needed in the field.
