Description
These wolf hunts run from December 1 - March 15 as this is the best time of year to hunt these predators. This hunt will utilize use bait, spot and stalk, and calling. At this time of the year there is snow so hunter will travel by snowmobile while hunting. Hunter can expect kill percentages at about 50%. Because wolves in these hunting areas have drastically increased and there is such an abundance of wolves and coyotes there is no limit on the number of wolves you can take. Alberta wolf hunts can be very rewarding with an excellent opportunity to take more than one wolf and a bunch of coyotes. Wolves are quite variable in color. The wolves in our hunting area tend to be a mix, black to white with many tones of grey. The mature wolves from this area have skulls in the 17-18" range and can weigh well over 100 lbs. These ultimate predators makes a great trophy. Canada wolves are a prized trophy and are by nature, extremely elusive. If you want a great hunt at one of North Americas most challenging trophies this is the hunt for you. This is a 6 day fully guided 2:1 hunt. Options to add additional days of hunting.

Refund Policy:
Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

This hunt can accommodate for hunters of all physical abilities. On average, hunter can expect 2-3 miles or more of hiking a day. Outfitter will supply snowmobiles for travel during this hunt.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Hunters will fly into Grand Prairie, Alberta. Outfitter will pick up and drop off hunters at the airport. Hunters may also choose to fly into Edmonton, AL and drive to camp. It is approximately a 3.5 hour drive. If hunters would like to take their meat home, Outfitter suggests driving.

Description
Hunter should be prepared for long field days in adverse weather. Expect for snow to be on the ground and colder temperatures. Layering systems and insulated boots are a must. Full gear list to be provided when booked.
