Description
Our elk hunts offer the opportunity to chase some of the largest bulls Montana has to offer on a general tag. All of our elk hunts are 1x1 hunts with (3) hunter maximum per week in camp (unless agreed on by hunting party and outfitter. Hunt takes place on 13,000 deeded acres that neighbors 26,000 acres of land locked public land. We offer a full (5) day hunt, arrive the day before your scheduled hunt date and leave the day after. We strive to hunt bulls in that 300" plus scoring range. Most hunts will be spot and stalk strategy with using heated side by sides for transportation. Meals and lodging include, with our in house cook serving 3 meals a day. We offer archery hunts in September and early October and rifle hunts going until the end of November. The tag for this hunt can be drawn in the general draw and hunters booked with the outfitter will also use an outfitter preference point. Purchasing a point prior to December 31st of the year prior to your hunt, a point prior to applying, and use of the outfitter point will guarantee your draw.

Great average bull class with potential opportunity at 320" plus bulls. Largest bull harvested on property was 353". This is a general season hunt that is conducted on private property and hunter will see bulls that range from 280"-320" on average with potential for trophy class bulls. The 2024 average harvest size for this hunt was 300".

Refund Policy:
Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

Outfitter can accommodate any physical ability on this hunt. The later season hunts could be more physically demanding. Side by sides with heat and ac are used when able.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Final flight destination is Missoula, MT or Helena, MT. Outfitter can pick hunters up at airport. The drive is approx 1 hour from airport to camp. If driving to camp, outfitter will provide directions and meeting place before hunt date.
