Description
These guided Montana deer hunts are some of the finest guided mule deer hunts available. Outfitter lease 25 square miles (97,000 acres) of prime mule deer habitat to provide hunters with first class hunting. Eastern Montana is home to some of the best mule deer habitat in North America. Outfitter is fortunate to have exclusive leases on some great properties making it a great experience for any hunter. This outfitter manages each ranch to produce trophy quality mule deer. These ranches are strictly managed for quality mature animals. Only hunters booked with this outfit can hunt these ranches, assuring every hunt is a truly special experience. This is a 2:1 hunt but can be upgraded to a 1:1 hunt for an additional charge. When drawn, this give the hunter the opportunity to shoot either a whitetail or mule deer. This area supports large whitetail bucks classifying 140-160" Boone & Crocket.

Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.
Description
South Eastern Montana is a great place to find big mule deer. You will be up early glassing draws and bottoms looking for bucks on their feet. This is a 5 day hunt, fully guided 2:1. This is a general season deer tag and hunter can choose to take either a mule deer or whitetail deer with their tag. Whitetail in the area usually average 140-160". Your day will be spent traveling from ridge to ridge looking for mature bucks. Once located you will plan your final approach. The stalk can be easy or physical all depending on where you find him. This is not a physically demanding hunt. Options to add an antelope to the hunt if tag is drawn with a trophy fee.

Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Final destination city is Billings or Great Falls. Hunter will be required to rent a car to drive to hunting camp. Billings and Great Falls are roughly equidistant to the hunting camp ~210 miles.

Description
Long days covering lots of ground with your glasses. You will need to be prepared for diverse weather as Montana can be fairly extreme in late October and November. Pack hunting clothing appropriate for your season. Durable and comfortable hiking boots are a must. Full gear list to be provided by the outfitter upon booking.
