Description
One of a kind all-inclusive Red Stag package. Four nights' accommodations at a beautiful lodge with meals provided by the private chef. You'll be able to upgrade and add a wide variety of iconic New Zealand animals while on this exclusive property. Your group will have sole use of the lodge and hunting property while hunting with the outfitter. Being located at the top of the South Island we are centrally located to give easy access to hunt all New Zealand’s varied game animals. This is a smaller premium hunting experience where hunters and non-hunters requests are catered for specifically rather than a large multi-booking lodge. Each week of hunting will be carefully designed to meet each hunter’s needs and requests. Hunters will have the lodge to themselves unless prior arrangement is made. This hunt is typically spot and stalk and caters to both rifle and bow hunters. Rifle hunters can expect shots between 100-200 yards but the ability to take shots out to 300 yards is an advantage. Bows hunters can expect shots between 20-50 yards. Rifles can easily be imported to New Zealand for the duration of your hunt (please see link below). Alternatively, rifles can be borrowed at no charge

Description
This time of year and the animals being targeted will ultimately determine the gear you’ll need. Be sure that all your gear is either new or thoroughly clean on arrival into New Zealand. Customs in New Zealand are very strict on outdoor equipment and will want to view any items that may have organic material on them, especially boots. All our accommodation have washing facilities, so cleaning and drying gear is not usually a problem. - February and March provide long daylight hours and warm temperatures (50-90 degrees Fahrenheit). - April through May the days shorten but cooler temperatures provide longer hunting opportunities through the day (30-70 degrees Fahrenheit). - June, July and August are our winter months and temperatures are cooler especially for tahr and chamois hunts (20-60 degrees Fahrenheit).
