Description

Great hunt for 2 large game animals in New Zealand. Estate stag is for a gold metal stag averaging 381-420" SCI. Hunter will also take a fallow buck. Hunter will stay in luxurious accommodations and eat food prepared by a private chef. Options to add one more hunter is possible with additional charge. Hunter may also take other large game, go fishing, or take some of the family for additional cost. Option for 3 day "non-hunter program" available for spouses to tour local wineries, enjoy local restaurants and take nature hikes for added cost. Custom hunt photography and filming available by request by local New Zealand videographer for added cost.

                    Refund Policy:

                    Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

                    This is a 5 day fully guided hunt for one hunter. Hunter will stay in beautiful accommodations with great views and eat meals prepared by a private chef. Options to shoot other New Zealand big game as well as options for fishing and touring. Options for 3 day "non-hunter programs" that includes transportation to and from local wineries, restaurants and scenic hikes. Options to add one more hunter for additional cost. Hunter should be prepared for moderate hiking in some steep and rocky terrain.

                    Hunter has many options on where to stay on the resort. Options include private 4 bedroom house, private cabins, or homestead lodge. Prices vary for upgraded accommodations. All hunters will have access to the beautiful Cross Hill Lodge. Built in 2019, Cross Hill is a place where you can rest and relax during the day before joining up for pre-dinner drinks and dinner each evening. In 2020, a series of geodesic domes will accommodate hunters. You will have your own private luxurious dome on the hill with your own deck and bathroom. Giving you time to enjoy your own space before meeting up with others.

                    Spot and stalk hunting for all species. Heavier hiking will be required for tahr. Hunter should be prepared with appropriate gear and be physically fit. Options for less strenuous hunting available. Ask your hunt specialist for these dates if there is physical fitness demands.

                    Description

                    Stag and fallow hunting will require some hiking in rolling hills. Hunter should be prepared to do some hiking. If tahr and chamois are also chosen, layering systems are recommended as weather in the mountains can vary. Bring comfortable hiking boots. Tahr hunting will require moderate to heavy hiking (depending on what time of year you book). Be prepared for steep and rocky terrain.
